UFC Fight Night took place in Brasilia, Brazil yesterday and featured a heavyweight main event collision of Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski taking on Brazil’s Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva in a rematch of their 2010 encounter where Silva took a unanimous decision win.
The 35-year-old Arlovski produced a vintage ‘Pitbull’ performance with knockout victory in the first round coming just before the 3 minute mark. Arlovski tagged Silva with a right hand putting him on the back foot followed by another that sent the Brazilian tumbling backwards. Before Silva could recover, the former champion followed up without mercy; delivering a series of hammer fists to flatten his opponent before the stoppage.
