It was reported yesterday that Tom Lawlor was forced to pull out of UFC Fight Night in Dublin on April 19 due to injury, and that Swedish light-heavyweight Ilir Latifi (8-3-1NC) was awaiting a replacement opponent. The UFC has now revealed that Chris Dempsey (10-1) will step in to face ‘The Sledgehammer’ at The O2 in Ireland’s capital.
The American will be making his UFC debut, and similar to Lawlor, will be coming up to 205lbs having previously competed at middleweight.
