In breaking news, Chris Miah has decided to re-sign a multi-fight contract with top British promotion BAMMA. Miah enjoyed success previously under the BAMMA banner winning both of his fights inside the distance against Mick Gerrard and Daniel Baraz.

BAMMA announced this news on Friday and the news was welcomed by mixed martial arts fans. The West Midlander signs for the promotion at bantamweight after formerly competing at flyweight in his previous spell.

Miah is known for the excitement he brings to his fights and this was brought to light when in 2015 he was nominated for the BAMMA technical knockout of the year after his terrific knockout of Mick Gerrard.

After the two victories at BAMMA 20 and BAMMA 23, Miah had another scheduled bout with Rany Sadeeh cancelled due to an injury. The Solihull native then fought under World Fighting Championship Akhmat where he lost in his debut to highly touted prospect Jarred Brooks who’s recently signed with the UFC.

The British prospect will be looking to extend his impressive record of 7-1 under the BAMMA promotion and with the partnership BAMMA now holds with Bellator, a whole host of opportunities await for the Team Titan athlete.

An opponent is still be to announced for “The Night” Miah with BAMMA stating they will announce the first of his multi-fight deal shortly.
