Cindy Dandois scored a quick finish over Kerry Hughes in the co-main event of Cage Warriors 89 but doesn’t want to rest on her laurels for too long.

After ‘the happiest moment of her career’, in which she TKO’d “Rocksteady” in front of fans and family in the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, “Battle Cat” tells MMA Plus she wants to remain as active as possible.

“I wanna fight as much as possible. The worst thing that (can) happen to me is that I get too much rest,” Dandois says.

“Rest is not good for me because I gain too many pounds – and not the right pounds. I’m a fat kid at heart so they can not give me rest. I need to fight as much as possible.”

Dandois fought her first bout since her only UFC appearance in April. On December 29 she fights in Japan against King Reina in Rizin FF. “Battle Cat” says she left the fight unscathed and is ready to go.

“I’m 100 percent, I have no injuries at all and I’ve never been fitter in my life. The only thing is that I have to gain enough weight. I’m low in weight now and I know King Reina is cutting weight from high (number).

“I have a month time – I walk heavier than I fight – so I’m gonna get to my walk weight, train very hard, gain some strength and make the best out of it.”
