It looks like Jason Radcliffe’s reign of terror over the domestic scene in the United Kingdom has finally been rewarded as he is set to face Victor Cheng for the vacant Cage Warriors middleweight title.

The fight will top the bill of Cage Warriors 85 which takes place at the o2 Academy in Bournemouth next month and will see Radcliffe (14-2) get a crack at his first major European title.

The Assasin will make his promotional debut off the back of an impressive 3-year unbeaten run that has seen him finish all of his opponents including a 14-second demolition of veteran Jack Mason at Bellator 158 last July.

Sources close to Radcliffe have today exclusively revealed to MMA Plus that the London-born fighter who trains out of Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand has signed a multi-fight deal with the Graham Boylen owned promotion.

After a disappointing debut for the promotion in 2011 where he suffered a TKO loss Cheng (11-2) has gone on a 4-fight unbeaten run that has seen the Swed defeat the likes of Matt GabelFaycal HucinIon Pascu and most recently Leeroy Barnes at CW 78 last September.

Also on the bill, Martin Stapleton will look to get back to winning ways when he faces Donovan Desmae. On his debut, the former BAMMA lightweight champion Stapleton (18-5) suffered a shock unanimous decision loss to Anthony Dizy at CW 80 which ended a 5-fight unbeaten run which saw him defeat the likes of Jeremy PetleyGavin Sterritt and Damien Lapilus.

Desmae (9-3) who hails from Brussels, Belgium will be looking to get back to winning ways after his 8-fight unbeaten run was snapped by Khusein Askhabov at WWFC – Cage Encounter 5 last December. Despite the setback, the Red Kings trained lightweight has been granted the chance to face the Bellator and BAMMA veteran at the o2 Academy on June 25th.
