Reports have emerged this morning that Sweden’s Reza “Mad Dog” Madadi (13-3) has been pulled from July’s UFC on Fox 8 card. The lightweight was who was due to face TUF winner Mike Chiesa (9-0) has been removed from the card due to last minute issue with his visa.
Madadi had recently bounced back from a contraversal spilt decision loss to Cristiano Marcello (13-5) at UFC 153, by defeating via d’arce choke Blackzilian fighter Michael Johnson (12-8) this past April at UFC on Fuel TV 9, in Stockholm, Sweden.
The news that was broken by UFC tonight has also reported that former Strikeforce lightweight contender Jorge Masvidal (24-7) will be the man to face Chiesa on July 27, at the KeyArena in Seattle.
