Popular news website TMZ.com has today revealed the suicide note left by disgraced mixed martial artist Jonathan “War Machine” Koppenhaver (15-4) after he failed in his attempt to end his life last Tuesday (18/10/2014) in his Las Vegas jail cell.
In the opening paragraph letter which has the title “To die proudly when it is no longer possible to live proudly” the former Bellator and UFC welterweight would say goodbye to the reader(s) by saying the following:-
“If you are reading this then it must be a rap. I refuse to live a parasitic life, relying on taxes and the generosity of friends for food and shelter, while never being able to give back”.
In this disturbing letter War Machine would also reaffirmed his love for former girlfriend Christy Mack who has been alleged to have viciously attacked when he entered the porn star’s home this past August. Koppenhaver wrote:-
“To Christy, my one: I truly love you and planned on being with you forever. I know that I have many flaws and that I wasn’t the best BF (boyfriend) at times. When I left you in May it didn’t take me long to realize my mistake. I loved you more than freedom when we re-united I was 100% dedicated, I know you felt it. I guess it was too little, too late though because something seemed different about you. It drove me crazy, but I knew that you still security before you “put all of your eggs in one basket” again. That night I was so excited to see you but what I found that night was devastating”.
The letter in its entirety can be viewed below.
War Machine is currently being held without bail on a total of 32 charges ranging from assault to attempted murder and MMA Plus will bring you more on this emerging story as we get it.
