Kennedy was originally set to face former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida on the card, but due a reoccurrence of an eye injury to Michael Bisping, Machida was drafted into appear on this months UFC Fight Night 30’s card instead, leaving Kennedy without an opponent.
