Following Ibrahim El Boustati‘s decision win over Filip Verlinden at Enfusion Live 41, the date is finally set for a clash with Andrew Tate.

The initial rumblings for the title fight came on The Mind Diet podcast, where Tate revealed he was planning on coming out of retirement to fight El Boustati.

Now, it’s official. The fight for the -90kg Enfusion belt will take place in The Hague, Netherlands on December 3.

There was although, a point following his -85kg title defence last weekend where El Boustati thought Tate had withdrawn from the fight.

However, speaking on the K1ANOOP podcast, Tate gave an update on the situation and clarified that he would be defending his Enfusion belt.

Tate admitted that the uncertainty over the last 24 hours was due to other issues outside of the sport and that matters have been taken care of.

Earlier this year, Tate was in the Big Brother UK (BBUK) reality TV show but left the BBUK house under very controversial circumstances.

With Tate’s return to active competition on the horizon, the Enfusion champion also had some strong words for his UK rival Lyndon Knowles:

“Lyndon had a chance to fight me, the fight was made. He pulled out.”

“Now he comes up and goes ‘oh, I’ll fight anyone’. You had your chance, son. You don’t get chances at the very, very top that easy. They don’t come like that when you decide you want them.

“You think you’re something important in the UK. Let me tell you something, on the world scene I’ve been here for five years my name’s been mentioned. No one mentions you on the world scene, no one cares who you are.

“Anyone that knows anything about fighting knows that. He’s a pressure fighter, he thinks that he can just run at me and pressure me, he’ll walk onto a bunch of shots and go to sleep in the first round.”

“So, f–k Lyndon.”

Andrew Tate vs. Ibrahim El Boustati will take place on December 3 on Enfusion Live 44 in The Hague, Netherlands which is also El Boustati’s ‘hometown’.
