ONE: Unstoppable Dreams went down earlier today at the Singapore Indoor Arena in Singapore with a card that featured three world title fights.

In the main event, Angela Lee successfully defended the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Championship for the third time when she earned her second unanimous decision win over Japan’s Mei Yamaguchi.

In the opening round, Yamaguchi made a strong start but in the closing moments of the round, Lee would come close to ending the bout with several submissions attempts. This set the tone for the remainder of the fight as Lee would be forced to work throughout the five gruelling rounds and it was her determination that would earn her the 9th of her career.

Gaiyanghadao takes Wielzen to school en route to a crushing knockout win

In the co-main event, Muay Thai phenom Sam-A Gaiyanghadao scored a fourth-round knockout victory over Sergio Wielzen to capture the inaugural ONE Super Series Muay Thai Flyweight World Championship.

Utilising his trademark power to dominate the fight, Sam-A repeatedly landed with a variety of strikes before hammering his opponent with a hard elbow to score a knockdown in the fourth round. Clearly in pain Wielzen was unable to beat the count of ten, forcing the referee to wave off the bout and declare the multiple time world Muay Thai champion the winner via knockout.

Champ, champ Nguyen earn razor-thin win over Lee to retain featherweight title

Also on the card, ONE featherweight champion Martin Nguyen made a successful first defence of his title but would be made to work for every moment to earn a razor-thin split decision win over Christian Lee.

Throughout the fight, neither fighter would give each other an inch with Nguyen edging the action on the feet and Lee having the advantage when the fight went to the ground.

In the championship rounds, it would be Nguyen who would put daylight between himself and the challenger by pressing the action and as a result, would emerge victorious on two of the three judges’ scorecards.

Yodsanklai batters Ngimbi, Aoki taps Yakhyaev and Folayang hands Atlangeriev first defeat

Another fight in the ONE Super Series would mark the debut of one of the most feared fighters in martial arts as Muay Thai wrecking machine, Yodsanklai Fairtex would batter Chris Ngimbi in their three-round kickboxing catchweight fight to earn a unanimous decision victory.

In a lightweight bout, Japanese martial arts legend Shinya Aoki made quick work of Rasul Yakhyaev, submitting the grizzled Russian combatant in the very first round. Earlier in the evening, former ONE Lightweight Champion Eduard Folayang put on a stellar performance to completely dominant performance to defeat the previously-unbeaten Russian dynamo Kharun Atlangeriev
