Former competitor on season 15 of The Ultimate Fighter Sicilia (13-5-0), fighting out of Spokane, WA USA, fought three times in 2014 recording two losses and one win against Aaron Phillips at UFC 173.

While Corassani, (14-6-1) originally from Lund, Sweden and now fighting out of New York, USA, will look to make a statement in front of the 30,000 strong home crowd.

Speaking about his addition to the fight card, Corassani said; “This is truly amazing and a dream come true. As an ex-football player I don’t want to miss the chance of fighting in a filled-up football arena!

“I’m not focusing on my opponent. The most important thing is my own performance and what I do in the Octagon. But I have respect for him, he’s dangerous.”

The featherweight bout adds further strength to the high quality card headlined by Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson set to take place on Saturday 24th January at the Tele2 Arena, and with tickets selling out fast fans are urged to buy now via www.axs.com.
