The UFC have announced the addition of two fights to the anticipated UFC on Fox 14 card set for the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on January 24.

Ukranian Nikita Krylov ( 17-4 ) will face Bulgaria’s Stanislav Nedkov ( 12-1-1NC ) in the light-heavyweight division while Russia’s Mairbek Taisumov ( 22-5 ) meets Brazilian Yan Cabral ( 12-1 ) in a lightweight contest.

Having fought three times in 2014, lightweight contender Mairbek Taisumovwas last in action at UFC Fight Night in Stockholm on October 4. The Chechnya native finished Marcin Bandel early in the first round via TKO, and bounced back from a decision loss to Michel Richard Cunha dos Prazeres suffered in March. ‘Beckan’ out performed South Korea’s Tae Hyun Bang with a unanimous decision win for his UFC debut in January.

Cabral began his time in the UFC in 2013 with a unanimous decision win over American David Mitchell before losing a decision the following year to Zak Cummings. The Nova Uniao fighter most recently submitted experienced Japanese veteran Naoyuki Kotani with a rear-naked-choke in the second round at UFC 179 in October.

As a former heavyweight contender, Krylov (pictured) went 3 three rounds with Soa Palelei in his UFC debut before suffering a TKO loss back in August of 2013. ‘Al Capone’ went on to knock out Walt Harris spectacularly in January, but opted for a drop to the light-heavyweight division; however, the Ukrainian lost his first bout at 205lbs to Ovince St. Preux via submission at UFC 171 in March. Most recently, Krylov finished Cody Donovan via TKO inside the first round at UFC Fight Night in Dublin on July 19.

In contrast, Nedkov will be stepping into the Octagon for the first time since February of 2013.  The Bulgarian last fought at middleweight and suffered a TKO loss in the second round against Tom Watson in what was declared ‘Fight of the Night’ at UFC on Fuel TV: Barao vs McDonald in London, England. Prior to that, Nedkov dispatched of Luiz Cane with a first round TKO upon his UFC debut in 2011 before dropping  a submission loss at the hands of Thiago Silva, only for the result to be declared a ‘no contest’ when the Brazilian failed the post-fight drug test.
