UFC announced today that it will host a press conference for UFC 197 DOS ANJOS vs. McGREGOR on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. PT, 7pm GMT at MGM Grand in Studios A & B. All four fighters from the two championship bouts will be present. The event, which will be streamed live here on MMA Plus and will be hosted by UFC President Dana White.
The main event will feature a champion versus champion match-up which will see the UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor (19-2) move up in weight to try and take Rafael dos Anjos (25-7) lightweight title and look to become the first “dual-weight” champion in the promotions history.
In the co-main event women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm (10-0) will make the first defence of her title when she faces the No.2 ranked Miesha Tate (17-5) who will look to capture the bantamweight title at the third time of asking.
