The main card has been finalised for Brad Pickett’s debut Rise of Champions event, which takes place October 17, at The City Pavilion in Romford.
Moussa Coulibaly was originally slated to face Bola Omeyole in the Middleweight main event, however unclarified circumstances sees him replaced by Italian Claudio Conti.
In addition to this, the main card is bolstered by the addition of Featherweight bout Daniel Crawford vs. Brian Moore and Heavyweight collision Ivan Stoyanov vs. Juan Fernandez.
ROC’s first women’s MMA fight, Ameesha Bhudia vs. Louise Hiller has also been added to the amateur section of the card.
Promoter and UFC Bantamweight Brad Pickett stated: “With less than a month to go to our first event, the pressure is really on to deliver a great night of fights. It’s inevitable to have a few changes in the run up to any event, but we’re committed to bringing an awesome card, stacked with the best professionals and amateurs around. Thanks again for all the support so far – it’s been amazing.”
Pickett has joined forces with Team Titan head coach, Mickey Papas to organise the event, and is currently putting the finishing touches to their first ever fight card. The inaugural event will feature fighters from BKK Fighters, The MMA Clinic, Team Titan, Dinky Ninjas and SBG Ireland, plus other renowned UK gyms.
