London based promotion Warrior Fight Series have added another contest to their continuously growing line up for WFS 3 at The York Hall, London on May 23rd.

A featherweight contest between two returning WFS fighters sees “New York Shogun” Richie Edwards (pictured) taking on former lightweight title challenger, Jamie Reynolds.

Edwards fights out of Team Titan in London by way of New York, USA and holds a professional record of 3-4. He is coming off a win last time out at WFS 2 as he defeated Garry Duffy by way of rear naked choke. Having fought on some of the biggest shows in the UK, Edwards has now signed to fight at the most iconic venue in his new hometown for the best up and coming show in the area. Known for his intense wrestling capabilities, Edwards is looking to make his record level off as he charges towards a potential featherweight title shot.

Jamie Reynolds is a former WFS lightweight title challenger who faced Jefferson George on short notice. Since then, he has made the drop to featherweight and currently holds a record of 6-5. Fighting out of Macmillan Martial Arts Academy in Plymouth, he is known for his slick ground game. He too will be looking to make a statement knowing that WFS’ champion will be watching closely.

WFS 3 takes place on May 23rd at London’s iconic fight venue, The York Hall.
