Full Contact Contender have announced the following changes to this weekend’s FCC 13 card:

Davies out, Parker in
One CWFC vet will be replaced by another, to fight yet another! Ant Davies was forced to withdraw over the weekend due to injury. Cage Warriors and M-1 Challenge participant Dez ‘The Arm Collector’ Parker has stepped up to take his place. Parker contacted FCC officials less than 24 hours after his quick first round victory at ICE FC on Friday, enquiring as to whether the promotion could find him an opponent. With Davies’ withdrawal, Carl Booth was left without a fight and agreed on Sunday evening to face Parker.

Promoter Adam Teh said, “Late pull outs are always a nightmare for promoters, but the professionalism and warrior spirit of both Dez and Carl meant that both men will now be accommodated on Saturday night’s card. Parker is no stranger to FCC and always puts on a show, while Booth is one of the most exciting prospects in the country. A true gift has fallen into our laps and I can’t wait to see these lads throw down!”

France’s Latreche faces Desborough

FCC was also made aware of a knee injury sustained by Adam Ventre late last week. MK Legion’s Malek Latreche from France will now face SBG Mainline’s Jordan Desborough in a featherweight contest. Latreche is a teammate of co-headliner Vincent del Guerra, with a strong background in Judo and Kickboxing. While he may have the experience edge in terms of MMA rounds, Desborough (who normally competes at 135lbs) will be giving away some considerable size to his featherweight foe.

Finally, Mitchell Richards has withdrawn from his amateur middleweight title eliminator against SBGi’s Ben Forth. FCC officials are currently seeking a replacement.

FCC would like to wish all injured fighters a speedy recovery, and we look forward to matching them on future cards.
