Warrior Fight Series (WFS) has today announced the date of its upcoming sixth event. The promotion will return to York Hall, London for Warrior Fight Series 6 on Saturday, May 21 2016. ‘Early bird’ tickets are now on sale.

Promoter, Harry Shoebridge, has confirmed the first names that will appear on the fight card, and that no less than three titles will be on the line at the event.

Shoebridge commented: “We’re going to bring an exciting night of mixed martial arts back to York Hall – and to ramp up the excitement a bit further, three titles will be contested on the night. Stay tuned to find out which titles will be on the line – and who will be looking to take home the gold. I’m really pleased with the calibre of the athletes we’ve signed up so far – this is just a teaser of what’s to come.”

The four confirmed athletes are:

Jake Bostwick (17-8)

Bostwick is on an impressive ten-fight win streak, most recently taking home the middleweight belt at Phoenix Fight Night 28 in December. Having defeated Patrick Vallee at WFS 3, in what was one of the UK’s most exciting fights of 2015, Bostwick will top the card at WFS 6.

Daniel Crawford (6-1)

Crawford is the current Warrior Fight Series featherweight champion – and will no doubt be looking to defend his belt in May. After suffering the only loss on his record at Phoenix Fight Night 28, Crawford is looking to get back in the win column at WFS 6.

CJ Meeks (4-1)

This middleweight was last seen submitting Mehrdad Janzemini via rear-naked choke at WFS4 last year. Having submitted his opponent in all four of his victories, Meeks has vowed to showcase his stand up talent at WFS 6.

Dominic Wooding (2-0)

Having fought both of his professional bouts at WFS, Wooding has become something of a fan favourite; his confident style has seen him finish both his opponents in the first round, via vicious KO. Following his latest victory – over IMMAF amateur world champion Iurie Bejenari – Wooding publicly called for a shot at the bantamweight title.

WFS6 headline athlete, Jake Bostwick, commented: “I’m currently in the middle of a fight camp out at American Top Team, Florida – and I’m feeling great. It’s been great to train with the elite athletes out here; they’ve helped me immeasurably, and I’ve picked up so much in a short amount of time. I’m lucky to be in a position to soak in everything that these big name UFC and Bellator fighters can share with me. I can’t wait to get home – to London, and to Warrior Fight Series – and show you all this new and improved Brutal Bostwick.”
